-The owners of Facebook were once offered $750 million for the site, but declined claiming that the site is worth much, much more.
-Nintendo and Sony were once video game partners. During the days of SNES, the two were on the verge of developing a cd-based system. It would be a Nintendo system, with sony assisting. Owners of Nintendo discovered that 25% of all profit from the system would go to Sony; and out of fear that Sony would take too huge of their share - the contract was terminated. Afterwards, Sony went on to develop the cd-based system and created the Playstation.
-The McDonald's Brothers altered Kroc's original proposed contract to buy the McDonald's franchise (which would yield the brother's 0.5% of total profit), and instead asked to keep their original 3 resteraunts. If they had kept the original contract, the McDonald's family would be earning $100 million per year. Kroc bought the franchise for $2.7 million.
