Education comes alive.

Something I find fulfilling about working with summerbridge is witnessing theories I've heard in class come alive. During today's math department meeting, we discussed issues of tracking, group work, etc. Normally more of a listener at these meetings, I found the talker within me reveal itself. I offered my own opinion and challenged those of others. Somewhere in between, I sensed familiarity in the scenario - finding parallels to class discussion in Berkeley. Only in this case, it was forreal. Classes begin this Wednesday. I'm pumped.
