One thing I miss about college is the daily bike ride home. The morning uphill is slightly taxing, enough to cause a visible sweat as I take a late seat in a crowded lecture hall. The downhill on the other hand... the downhill for me is one of those few moments where you truly feel alive.
My path is quicker than cars. The wind's on my face. There's no need to pedal. I watch the day fly by me. Sidewalk conversations are but snippets. Friends on your path yell at you. At my destination is a chance to breathe.
Almost home now and I let go of the handlebars. It's like I'm flying.
Felt a lil of that yesterday. Need more.
